World Maths Day in Primary 2🌎➕
Today, we celebrated World Maths Day in Primary 2 by completing a problem-solving task that Mr Heyburn had set us using Gus the Plus and addition sentences➕. We had to Roll the Dice, put that many bricks in the first block, and then roll the dice again. We were so good at this that Miss Wharry had to challenge us with a tricky dice that had bigger numbers🎲.
In Primary 2, we also have been learning about Time- looking at O’Clock🕙. Today, we took our Numeracy lesson outdoors and made clocks using chalk. We were given a card with a time on it and had to create that time. Then, we played a game called, “Race to the Clock”. Miss Wharry called out a time and we had to find a clock with that time on it. We were so good at this- well done Primary 2👏🌟
