Over the next few weeks in SU, we will be exploring what the Bible says about the Fruit of the Spirit.
Today we had Eve from Scripture Union along and we had lots of fun singing some songs, playing a “Fruit Salad” game and even a blind-folded taste test! 🍐🫐🥝😋
We explored what the Bible says in Galatians Ch5 v 22-23: “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
Then the boys and girls were divided into groups and asked to match each “Fruit of the Spirit” with the opposite, that we do instead because of sin.
To finish, the boys and girls were asked to write a simple prayer on a piece of paper shaped like a piece of fruit before finishing with another song and a drink of juice!
