As part of our World Around Us topic, Primary 2 became investigators🕵️♂️ and took part in a Rainbow Jar Experiment. We had to follow instructions to make sure we did it right, and used lots of different ingredients, including olive oil, food colouring, water and washing up liquid.🧴. We discussed the science behind the Rainbow Jar and how it was to do with density- how less dense liquids can float on top of more dense liquids, and how they did not mix! We ended up with a lovely Rainbow Jar and a successful experiment- well done Primary 2👏.
