Primary 6 make robotic hands in STEM!
19th Nov 2024
Primary 6 were set the challenge of creating a bionic hand using materials such as cardboard, string and straws. They now understand the function of the fingers and the importance of the thumb; to catch or hold objects. P6 know it would not be possible to move the human hand if it was only composed of bones and that bones, muscles, tendons and ligaments work together allowing our hand to move the fingers.
