In Primary 1, we have started our new WAU topic called “Percy and Pals.” Over the next few weeks, we will be reading lots of stories about Percy the Park Keeper by Nick Butterworth. This week, Miss Montgomery read us the story called “One Snowy Night” and we have been enjoying lots of activities in Play Based Learning linked to this. These included dressing teddy for the snowy weather, making (imaginary!) hot chocolate with marshmallows, mark making in the sand, helping the animals to escape from the ice at the water tray, role-play in the garden centre and making bird feeders!
