Primary 3 had great fun learning about 2D shapes this week. To celebrate Outdoor Classroom Day, they made 2D shapes in lots of different ways. First, they gathered some natural materials. Next, they split into 3 groups and had a little go at making some shapes with their bodies. After that, they rotated around 3 stations; making shapes with rope, natural material and chalk. When using chalk to draw the shapes, they had to mark the vertices and sides to show their understanding!
