After listening to the story “A Wrinkled Heart” P1 helped Miss Montgomery to sort statements to help make a “bowl of kindness.” 👩🏼🍳
As we sorted the statements, Miss Montgomery used a “Wrinkled Heart” as a visual to show P1 how hurtful words and behaviours can make other people feel.
Later in the week, P1 will have the opportunity to make their own heart wristband - to act as a little reminder to us to always be kind to others. ❤️ So please keep an eye out, for some more photos being added to this website post. 👀
We will also be reading more stories with a kindness theme during story time too!
As we all know, little acts of kindness can really brighten the lives of people around us. One kind word leads to another…and as Paddington would say, “if you’re kind and polite, the world will be right.” 🐻 In P1 we are trying to fill a cup with kindness (coloured pom poms!) and when it’s full, we are getting a class treat! 😁
